America creates and attracts far too many billionaires and their growing numbers — pun intended — is harming the nation and threatens to undo the foundations of American and global democracy.
Billionaires are using their money to subvert American democracy, undo civil rights, limit healthcare and access to abortions for girls and women, funding insurrections, pushing right-wing propaganda via their ownership of almost every social media sight, all cable and network news, and every major newspaper.
They have unlimited access to elected officials because they can give unlimited money, thanks to the Supreme Court. They also paid for the Supreme Court through various conservative organizations such as The Heritage Foundation who runs the selection of justices like their billionaire sports league owner counterparts run their minor leagues. And Not so secret billionaire benefactor Harlan Crow who owns, er, funds Clarence Thomas.

Their minor leaguers who were drafted, trained, and then promoted to the highest court in the land include Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, Samuel Alito, and of course Chief Justice John Roberts.
And they sell their access and their power to any foreign entity who has the money. And it doesn’t matter their intention, their desire to destroy this version of America, their religion, or how their own countries are run.
The billionaire plague doesn’t have a vaccination because capitalism is its own inoculation to oversite and restricted influence on government.
In their attempts to one-up each other, billionaires are whining, crying, bumbling, and stumbling all over themselves on and off social media.
The best worst example is Elon Musk, a self-promoted “genius” who convinced people he was smart after using daddy’s money to buy a solar company, buy a car company, and buy a rocket company. He didn’t create anything or have any original ideas. The South African nepo baby won over fanboy “journalists” who longed for their own eccentric racist billionaire like the old boys of old William Hearst, John Paul Getty, Howard Hughes, and all those robber barons who exploited workers for generations last century.

Kennedy Jr. who decided to run for president as a so-called 3rd-party candidate. 3rd Party candidates try to harm the democratic candidate and party, and clear a way for the republican candidate.

Elon is merely following in the small footprints of Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg who pimped himself to the Russians and other foreign adversaries during the 2016 election. Mark sold billions in ads that specifically pushed lies and false information to Black voters. The goal, by republican operatives and their Russian backers, was to suppress the black vote and elect their puppet Trump.
After the election and following the Jan 6th insurrection, Zuckerberg admitted that Facebook had failed to adequately monitor and prevent efforts to suppress the black vote and he promised to do better. He and Facebook did not change a bit, and the same Black voter suppression tactics are already happening as we get closer to the 2024 presidential election.

Not to be outdone by new media, old media got in on the action. Billionaire CNN owner John Malone promptly hired dumb-dumb Chris Licht to run the flailing cable news network. Malone simply followed the corporate american script of hiring the best (white man) savior who had all the answers, only listened to his own self-counsel, and loudly proclaimed he and only he could fix CNN.
Licht hastened CNN’s demise by deciding that what the nation needed more of was… Donald Trump.
Licht held a disastrous town hall with Donald Trump and promptly got demoted after near universal derision for allowing Trump to lie nonstop, and for picking an audience of only die-hard Trump supporters.
CNN ratings are lower than the Andy Griffith show on late night TV, and employees are loudly whining in the media about how awful he is following an all-access article in the Atlantic that Licht allowed because he thought he was doing a great job.
Licht was fired today.
Good riddance but CNN will not recover their former loyal viewers, and they will never win over hardcore republicans who’ve hated the network since Ted Turner and Jane Fonda owned it decades ago.

But the damage bumbling big baby billionaires are causing to democracy is spreading because behind every awful republican politician is a billionaire who wants what he wants: No taxes, cheap labor, child labor, no regulations, no discrimination laws, no checks or balances, plenty of government subsidies, and no international cooperation by law enforcement and other democracies.
As the 2024 election season edges closer, it is important for voters who support the democratic party recognize that billionaire money will aggressively fund propaganda, voter suppression, misinformation, disinformation, and good old fashioned american-style hate so that their preferred candidate will win.
And there is a reason that crowd of bigoted bumbling billionaires almost exclusively support the republican party: Billionaire birds of a feather flock, and vote, together.
